Mrs. Jane Trueman died at Belmore on Wednesday. Deceased was mother of Mrs. Hector Caldwell, with whom she had resided for some years. She has a charming, courteous English lady and a brilliant pianiste. The body was taken to the Crematorium at Rook-wood on Thursday.

Her country obituary, quoted as the Trove OCR stands ("She has a charming" is OCR for "She was a charming"; "Rook-wood" is a hyphenated line break). It corroborates the death at Belmore and the Rookwood cremation already recorded, adds that she was English-born and a pianist, and — the reason it is cited on the person rather than on an event — identifies the "Mr. and Mrs. H. Caldwell" of her Sydney Morning Herald notices as Hector Caldwell and a daughter of hers who is not in the tree.

For Hector Caldwell (1868–1948)

Mr. Caldwell's death occurred in Molong District Hospital on Decem-ber 23, and his passing is mourned by numerous friends. He was in his 81st year. A son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Caldwell, and one of a large family, he was born at Eurimbla, a few miles from Larras Lee.
