The names of the children are Benjamin, Ray-monf, Alice Mary, Lilian Gladys, and Arthur Norman.

Identity control. The husband is named earlier in the same notice as "Mr. Harry Edward Trueman, of Moulder-st". "Benjamin, Ray-monf" is OCR of Benjamin Raymond (#21758). With Alice Mary (#21759), Lillian Gladys (#21725) and Arthur Norman (#21760) that is four of the five children in this tree; the fifth, the newborn, is Esme Doris (#21761). Two sisters and four brothers are said to survive her.

The same family insertion as the Empire's, set by a different paper and headed EZZY rather than EZZEY while spelling the husband "John Ezzey" in the body. Cited here for the spelling variation as much as for the fact; it is not an independent report of the death.

Obituary corroborating the registrations from the other direction: it names his father as Richard Blakeney Bligh of Dalby (#50077), his widow as a Miss Corcoran (#50070 Mary Lucy Corcoran) and his three surviving sons as William, Richard and Kevin of Warwick - the tree's #50067 William Joseph, #50075 Richard Anthony and #50076 Kevin Stanislaus. It also puts the family in Warwick, where Anna Bligh was born in 1960. Passages joined with ellipses; the OCR of this page is poor and the widow's given initial is illegible, so it is elided rather than guessed.

For Richard John Blakney Bligh (1850–1925)

There passed away at his residence in Patrick st., last evening at about 8 p.m., a very old and well known resident of Dalby, in the person, of Mr. Richard John Bligh, at the age of 76 years. ... Mr. Richard John Bligh was the grandson of the famous Captain Bligh of the historic Mutiny of the Bounty incident. ... The son of the redoubtable Captain returned to the colony in 1838, and settled down in Sydney where the deceased was born in 1849. ... The children still living are Messrs. William Richard, Bertie Ivo, and Maurice O'Connell Blyth, Mrs. T. Hopper, of Coorparoo, Brisbane, Miss Ruby and Kitty Blyth, and Miss Gwennie Bligh

Obituary published the day after his death. Three things it supplies: the family's own contemporaneous claim of descent from Governor Bligh, stated in 1925 and independent of any modern compiled tree; a Sydney birth in 1849 consistent with the tree's 1850 and with the parents' 1847 Sydney-region marriage; and a list of surviving children that includes Bertie Ivo (#50071) and a Maurice O'Connell Bligh, the O'Connell name repeating the Bligh-O'Connell kinship. CAUTION: the obituary's stated degree is loose - it calls him a grandson of the Governor where the documented chain makes him a great-grandson, and 'the son of the redoubtable Captain' is wrong, since William Bligh left no surviving son; the line ran through his daughter Elizabeth, who married her kinsman Richard Bligh. The descent is sound; the obituary's arithmetic is not. Passages joined with ellipses; the paper spells the surname Blyth in places.

Contemporaneous death notice. Direct evidence for this person's death on 20 AUG 1869 at Sydney, matching the tree exactly, and for an age of 50, consistent with the tree's birth of 26 FEB 1819. Critically, it names his father as the late Richard Bligh of Lincoln's Inn, barrister-at-law - the tree's #50191, the law reporter - and states he was the eldest son.

Probate notice one week after the death, for Richard Bligh late of Sydney. His executor is John O'Connell Bligh - the tree's #50167 and, per the Wikipedia article and the 1880 obituary, his brother. Independent official corroboration of the sibling link that carries the Governor Bligh descent into this line.

Evidence for this person's occupation (barrister of Lincoln's Inn) and for his eldest son. DATA PROBLEM FLAGGED, NOT OVERWRITTEN: the tree gives his death year as 1938, which cannot be right for a man born 1785 whose wife died in 1854 and whose eldest son was born in 1819. This notice shows him already dead by August 1869. 1938 looks like a keying error for 1838. The field has been left untouched for a moderator to correct.

Mr August Adolph Dittrich, 86, who died at his son's residence, "Angaston, was born at Stockwell on January 16, 1870, being the eldest son of the late Mr and Mrs Traugott Dittrich. He was baptised by Pastor Rechner at Lights Pass on January 30, attended school there, and was confirmed by Pastor Rechner on October 7, 1883. On November 2, 1918, he married Helene Mathilde Roennfeldt and the couple lived at Truro, where their two sons and three daughters were born. He was widowed in 1927. In 1933 he married Maria Ida Neumann and they made their home in Tanunda until he came to live with his son Bert at Angaston in 1947. Mrs Dittrich died four years ago.

Obituary, The Leader (Angaston, SA), 13 Sep 1956. Confirms August's own death 4 Sep 1956, not 1927 (that was his first wife's death year, misattributed). Confirms the 1933 marriage to Maria Ida Neumann is correct. The five children named later match family #17703 exactly.

Identifies this person. #60211 is the father of Margaret Agnes Morehead (#26018), who married Travers Robert Goff (#26017); the notice names both parties exactly as the tree holds them and gives her father as ROBERT CHARLES Morehead, of Sydney, already deceased in 1898. This is the evidence for supplying the given name, which the GEDCOM import left blank.

Corroborates the ABT 1842 birth year. The notice does not name the child, so the identification is an inference: R. A. A. Morehead's elder son was aged 32 in October 1874, and his other son Boyd Dunlop was not born until 24 August 1843, so the son born at Fort-street on 21 February 1842 is almost certainly this man. Recorded as ABT 1842 rather than 21 FEB 1842 because the notice is anonymous.

Flanagan' in 1946 (Trove 168305711) — the initials here look like a compositor's repeat of the son J. V. Cilento, so nothing was changed. Mrs A. Harrison, Mrs A. Pybus, Mrs Bussula, Mrs C. Merrill, Mrs N. Silverman, J. V., S. L. and F. L. Cilento are unworked leads.

"Robert Jarrott, of Indooroopilly, was buried yesterday. Mr. Jarrott was by birth an Englishman, from Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. He arrived at Brisbane in 1857, shortly before separation... he died on Thursday evening, aged 65. Yesterday he was buried in Toowong Cemetery."

Mr. Charles Walton, a respected resident of Tarome, died on Monday, at the age of 73 years. Born in England on August 20, 1852, he left with his parents a few years later for Australia in the sail-ing vessel John Davis, landing in Moreton Bay on May 10, 1858, the voyage occupy-ing five months.
