Died 18 October 1883
Lansdowne, New South Wales, Australia
Died at Lansdowne on the Manning River, aged about 42, in the same year her youngest child was born — almost certainly in childbirth or its aftermath. Her death registration, 8415/1883 in the Wingham district, carries the registrar's annotation 'DIED LANSDOWN' in place of her mother's name, which is what fixes the place. Buried at Lansdowne General Cemetery with her husband.
