Born c. 1809

Aged 45 on arrival in November 1854. Her place of origin is entered on the passenger list as 'Chilten Somerset' — most likely Chilthorne Domer or Chilton Cantelo, both near Yeovil and within a few miles of East Coker, but the tree has no row for either and the reading is not certain, so no place id is set. Baker is her married surname; her maiden name is not recorded on the list.

Baptised 25 December 1809

Baptised at Chilthorne Domer, St Mary, in Somerset, the daughter of John King and Amelia - which is where her daughter Amelia Baker's name comes from. Her age on the Kate in November 1854 was 45, and her place of origin was entered as 'Chilten Somerset'. No place id is proposed because the tree holds no row for Chilthorne Domer, Somerset.
