THE RECORD THAT MAKES THIS COUPLE HIS PARENTS, and the reason a link was proposed in #2328 where #2304 had offered only a lead. Until this row was read nothing named Thomas's parents at all; the case rested on there being one Crossingham household at Icklesham in the 1780s, on the SIMMONDS given name, and on Thomas naming a son Richard and a daughter Martha.
