Joseph Hammer - already the anchor of this whole project), Caroline (b.1846, likely her twin), James (1845-1895, m. Mary Jane Field/Fields - father of Harriet Lillias Vesey Sledge and siblings already being researched separately), John Hester (1872-1940), Amelia (1874-1929, m. Henry Pinne), James Ashton (1876-1933, m. Annie Wilson), Charles Blyth (1878-1938, m. Cecilia Patrick), Alice (1881-1945, m. Frank Yates), Walter Ernest (1883-1943, m. IMPORTANT CORRECTION: this places John Hester Vesey (81644, Lilias Catherine Vesey's father, already real from proposal #833) as a child of an EARLIER John Hester Vesey (1809-1850) and Lillias Blyth - a generation further back than previously mapped. Mary Elizabeth Vesey is his sister, making her Lilias Catherine's great-aunt, not her aunt as might otherwise be assumed.

CORRECTION: this WikiTree child list was previously cited only on family #32546 (John Hester Vesey 1842-1898 x Sarah Ann Denmead), which is impossible for James (b.1845), Lilias Catherine (b.1846) and Caroline (b.1846): their supposed father there was himself born 1842 and married Sarah Ann Denmead only in 1870, so he would have been 3-4 years old at their births. Those three are instead contemporaries of John Hester Jr (b.1842) and his sister Mary Elizabeth (b.1840, already recorded here on family #32573, John Hester Vesey Sr 1809-1850 x Lillias Blyth) -- i.e. siblings of John Hester Jr, not his children. James Vesey is being researched separately elsewhere in the tree and is not added by this proposal. The other nine adult children (John Hester 1872-1940 down to George Andrew 1891-1972) remain correctly attached as John Hester Jr's own children on family #32546 -- unaffected by this fix.

Thirteen children, several dying young (Arthur Vesey, Percival Alfred, and Walter Campbell all died between ages 20-23, within a few years of each other, 1900-1903). Their own marriages and children (Trompf, Bamford, Rogers, Watson families - a further 4 generations, roughly 40+ more people) are not included in this proposal - a genuinely large separate branch, flagged for a dedicated follow-up rather than folded in here.

FLAGGED: Cameron Causon married Gwenda Muriel McLachlan - a THIRD independent McLachlan coincidence in this project, after the main McLachlan-Hammer family (Ballarat) and Myra McLachlan marrying Harrold Shepherd in WA. This one is in an entirely different context (the Trompf/Elliott/Vesey extended family), making a real connection less likely, but the recurrence is striking. Mark Dewar Trompf's own spouse and a further great-grandson are marked '[private]' on the source WikiTree page (living or recently-living people) and are not named here, respecting that redaction rather than guessing at identities.
