Mrs. Ernstine Maria Modistach died at her home on August 6 at the age of 79 years. Mrs. Modistach was born at Stockwell in 1861, and was edu-cated at the Stockwell school. Later she married Mr. Joseph Modistach, who survives her. They lived at Moculta and Stockwell for eight years, and at Sutherlands for 39 years. For the last ten years they lived at Freeling. On April 8 they celebrated their diamond wedding.
