Death of Mr. E. Grenenger. Profound regret was expressed in Braidwood this (Friday) afternoon, when word was received that the death had occurred, in Goulburn, of Mr. E. Grenenger. … He was a resident of Braidwood for 50 years, and carried on the tannery business here, which he afterwards handed over to his son. Deceased, who would have been eighty years of age had he lived till Oct next, leaves four sons and five daughters, including Mrs. Turnbull (Braidwood), Sergeant Grenenger (Yass), ansd Messrs. Fred. and Les. Grenenger (Goulburn), while another son is in South Afri-ca.

'another son is in South Africa' is the Wenzel Albert Grenenger who wrote home from Central Angoniland in 1903-06 and died in Nyasaland in 1950 (NSW death 999999/1950, Braidwood) — the man previously guessed in this tree to be Wenzel #82883's son Wenzel Edward B, who in fact died as an infant in 1874.
