"He establiched one of the oldest gardens in this district in the valley between the Green Rocks and the Governor's Hill, which is now worked by his second son, Mr. H. C. Charles. He subse-quently formed another orchard in the same neighborhood and named it Normington Park, which is now owned by his youngest son, Mr. R. H. Charles. The third son, Mr. J. F. Charles, has also an orchard in the same place. T'he eldest son, Mr. J. E. Charles, is a railway employe at Young. Deceased leaves also two daughters."
