The official digitised annual calendars of grants of probate and letters of administration, searched full-text at probatesearch.service.gov.uk. Distinct from the Ancestry republications already in this tree (sources 1061 and 1292): this is the Crown's own scan set and the text quoted is OCR of the calendar page itself. The calendars print two columns per page and the OCR interleaves them, so a quoted entry can contain a fragment of the neighbouring entry.
