For John Field & Margaret Ann Albury
probate of the last will and testament of the abovenamed John Field, deceased, who died on the 10th day of June last, may be granted to Margaret Ann Field, the sole executrix named in the said will.

THE HARD EVIDENCE FOR THIS UNION, and the only piece of it that is not a compiled tree: the Supreme Court probate notice for John Field of Mount Street, St Leonards, farmer, names Margaret Ann Field as his sole executrix - the position a widow holds. It is dated four months after his death and is a court record, not a transcription. WikiTree Field-3651 quotes the will itself, written 17 August 1881, as leaving her two properties: 'One farm on Oxley Island purchased 1857 (29 acres no189 in book51) and 25 acres from Margaret's father'.
