Wikipedia is preferred here over the parliamentary register, whose Military Service field reads "Royal Australian Army Medical Corps, World War I" — impossible for a man born in 1909 and evidently a slip for World War II. Wikidata Q23988341 (P31 human, P39 Q18526194) carries birth 30 August 1911 with only 'imported from English Wikipedia' as its reference; that value comes from a malformed death-date-and-age template in this very article, whose prose and lead both say 5 July 1909. The Queensland birth registration confirms 1909, so the qid is safe to attach even though Wikidata's P569 is wrong.
