The parents, abode and trade columns of his son James's baptism, the last of the four. This is why the occupation event now spans 1815 to 1824 instead of the single year 1815: the register describes him as a labourer of Brede at every one of his children's baptisms - Sarah 12 January 1815 (media 400, page 10), Hannah 19 January 1819 (media 423, page 30), Thomas 26 June 1822 (media 421, page 46) and James 29 February 1824 (this page). Nine years in one parish at one trade. Corroborated fourteen years later and half a world away by the 1838 James Pattison entitlement certificate, which gives his daughter's father as 'William Watson, labourer'.

The last of the four Brede baptisms to this couple, now read from the register page instead of the index - which is what this residence event needed. Four entries in one parish register between January 1815 and February 1824, each giving the abode as Brede. It also bears on whether the Watsons followed their daughter to New South Wales: they had not left Brede by February 1824, fourteen years before Sarah sailed on the James Pattison. Their burials are still not found, and the Ancestry 62128 sweep that returned 61 Watson burials with no Brede or Udimore in the place column used an unreliable keyword filter, so that remains an open question and not a negative.
