For Richard Crossingham (1834–1917)

RICHARD CROSSINGHAM / HUSBAND OF ABOVE / ELDEST SON OF / RICHARD AND HENRIETTA / DIED APRIL 7th., 1917, 84 YEARS.

Brass plaque on Harriot M. Crossingham's headstone, Moorland General Cemetery, photographed by Ray Cork for the Australian Cemeteries Index (inscription 6427738); photograph uploaded and read this session. This is the monumental statement of the parent link - eldest son of Richard and Henrietta, husband of the Harriot M. Crossingham named on the stone above. Its '84 YEARS' is a year out against the 1834 baptism (his 1917 obituary says 82); the plaque is modern and the age is not relied on.
