'AGED 72 YEARS' puts her birth about 1836.

The sources conflict: the stone gives 72 (b. 1836), the Raleigh Sun 71 (b. 1837), and the James Pattison list as transcribed by WikiTree makes her 7 months old on 10 December 1838 (b. May 1838). Only the headstone was read from the artifact itself, so it carries the date; the Ancestry passenger page would settle it.
