For “Died” 1931 of Johanna Wilhelmine Charlotte Ludwig
Mrs. Johanne Charlotte Wi[?]mine Falkenhagen, an old pioneer of the Logan district, died at Waterford on June 4. The deceased, who w[as] 94 years of age, was bo[r]n at Fredenwald[e], Germany. In 1[8]6[5] she married Mr. Carl Friedrich Falkenh[a]ge[n], and in 1865 they came to Queensland. They first resided at Alberton, and later at Waterford. Her husband pre-deceased her about 12 years ago. The late Mrs. Falkenhagen, who had bee[n] blind for the past seven years, is sur[v]ived by two sons and three dau[gh]ters.
OCR has several bracketed gaps/errors on worn print; quoted as the tool returned it. Matches #14311 exactly (94 in 1931 = b.1837; husband #14310 d.1920, 'about 12 years' before). Establishes the family's Alberton-then-Waterford history, which independently corroborates #21552's own obituary (companion citation).
