Quoted exactly as the OCR renders it: "rc^dcncc" is residence, "EmiHe" is Emilie, "3S" is 38. THIS IS WHY #55430 IS RENAMED. He came into the tree from the GEDCOM as a second "Johanes August Pech" born 1880, which read like a duplicate of #55429 — in fact he is Paul Hermann, born November 1880 per the Moad sheet, and an age of 38 in May 1919 fits that exactly. Two further proofs: his father's 1934 obituary says "Mr. Hermann Pech predeceased his father some years ago", and a probate notice in the Journal of 5 July 1919 lists "Paul H. Pech, Appila, 7,300". HIS DEATH WAS THE FIRST CERTIFIED PNEUMONIC INFLUENZA DEATH IN THE HUNDRED OF APPILA: the Laura Standard of 16 May 1919 reports "The first death certified to have been caused through pneumonic influenza which has taken place in this district occurred on Monday, May 12th, in the Hundred of Appila... Dr. L. L. Davey, of Laura, who was called to attend the deceased, Mr. Hermann Pech, a highly esteemed resident of the district", and that his funeral was at the Appila Lutheran cemetery. HIS WIFE Emilie Ida, nee Jaeschke, is not created here; they married on 4 February 1910 at the Lutheran Church, Pine Creek, Appila.
