For “Born” 18 MAR 1863 of Johann Modistach

Mr. Johann Modistach, who died at Maitland on Friday, 1st August, was born at Moculta on March 13th 1863.

Gives birth as 13 Mar 1863 at Moculta, vs the tree's uncited 18 Mar 1863 at Parrot Hill (a locality within/adjoining Moculta, same district). A 5-day disagreement between an uncited import and a 78-year-later family recollection; date left unchanged, flagged for a human.

For “Died” 1 AUG 1941 of Johann Modistach

Mr. Johann Modistach, who died at Maitland on Friday, 1st August, was born at Moculta on March 13th 1863.

Corrects the previously uncited GEDCOM death date of 8 Jan 1941. The obituary's funeral date ("Saturday afternoon, August 2nd, at the Tabor Cemetery") is internally consistent with a Friday 1 Aug death. A WikiTree compiled profile (Modistach-6) also shows 8 Jan 1941 but almost certainly shares the same uncited origin as the GEDCOM import, not independent evidence.

For Auguste Wilhelmine Anna Ludewig (1862–1935)

Mrs. Anna Moriistacb awav at Ansjaston on Friday, August 10th, was bom n r Truro in 1862. Tite deceased was warned to Mr. John Mo distach in 1888

Contemporary notice (5 days after death); OCR is very poor (surname rendered "Moriistacb"/"distach", quoted verbatim). Gives death as Friday 10 Aug 1935, used for deathDate; Johann's own 1941 obituary recalls "August 9th 1935" (a 6-years-later family memory) - the contemporary account is preferred, discrepancy noted. Also reported, same substance, in the Leader (Angaston), 15 Aug 1935, article 166363369.
