Abstract of a Northumberland County, Virginia court order, quoted at second hand in the compiled work (attributed there to Northumberland County Court Orders p.759). Elizabeth acting as executrix of Clement's will is independent of the parish register showing she was his wife. The underlying county order book has not been consulted.
