John Glasby, baptism 30 Jul 1815, St Margaret, abode Swinton; father George GLASBY, painter; mother Elizabeth. Entry 13.

The only John Glasby baptised in Yorkshire in 1812-1820 in FreeREG, and the source of the christening already in the tree. CAUTION: it names the father as GEORGE Glasby, while the Queensland death registration names WILLIAM Glasby. One of the two is not this man, so the baptism is cited with its conflict rather than treated as proven.
