Motor-cycle collision on Canterbury Road, Lakemba: riding with Robert Gudgeon (21, of the same address) on the pillion, he crashed head-on with a motor cycle and sidecar; ambulance men cut through the handlebars of both machines to free him. Gudgeon suffered a fractured skull. Died in hospital on 7 May 1931.
