For Henry Cole (1841–1914)

Henry Cole | b. Jan 1841 Tintinhull | father Thomas Cole | mother Mary Ann Sartin | spouse Mary A Thomson | son Edward Alfred | d. 15 Jun 1914 Kensington

Ancestry member tree 'Andrew's Family Tree', quality 1, recorded for its two unproven claims and nothing else. It agrees with every record cited here, which is reassuring but not independent — a member tree is usually built from the same indexes. (1) It gives Henry's mother as 'Mary Ann SARTIN'. FamilySearch has no Sartin-Cole marriage in Somerset 1815-1840, so the maiden surname is NOT verified and has deliberately NOT been made a name row on Mary; if a Tintinhull or Ash marriage register turns it up, it can be added then. (2) It gives a son 'Edward Alfred'. Henry was 71 at the 1912 marriage, so a child of that union is unlikely and a Thomson stepchild is the better guess; not created, and worth a NSW birth check on father Henry Cole before anyone acts on it.
