Elected to the House of Representatives for the Queensland division of Fairfax at the 2013 federal election, sitting for the Palmer United Party. Fairfax covers the coastal and inland region north of Brisbane, including Buderim, Maroochydore and Nambour. He served on the House Standing Committees on Economics and on Infrastructure and Communications and the Joint Select Committee on Trade and Investment Growth, and retired prior to the 2016 general election.
