Kalischnitz, Köslin, Pommern, Preussen — Volume 1 Page 915 Type Ab. LKr Stolp See Gross Podel
PROBABLE, not certain. There is no Kaschnitz anywhere in the 1912 empire, and Meyers is complete, so the leaf is a mis-transcription. The only Pommern candidate within two letters that lies in the family's own Kreis is Kalischnitz, an Abbau (outlying settlement) of Gross Podel in Landkreis Stolp, at 54.57816, 17.49667 — the same Kreis as Lupow (#2554/#3297), where the same Greinke family's earlier generation was born. Gross Podel is today Podole Wielkie, gmina Główczyce (Wikidata Q1488245, 54.579648, 17.503756); Kalischnitz has no separate post-1945 name, so that is the coordinate set. Row #3300 'Cashnitz' holds a sibling of the #3296 children and is the same place.
