'Franklin, Summit, Ohio' is the census-index form of Franklin Township, Summit County. Part of the township incorporated as the Village of New Franklin in 1997 to block annexation by Barberton and Norton; in November 2003 the township and village voted to merge, effective 1 Jan 2005, at which point Franklin Township ceased to exist. New Franklin became a city on 5 Mar 2006 (Wikidata Q2375105). John Nunn's death and burial here in Feb/Mar 1937 fall well inside the township's life, so the row keeps the name as recorded and links forward.
