Flowerdale Municipality, Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada
Flowerdale, Alberta: an abandoned locality about 24 km south-west of Youngstown on Berry Creek, seat of the Rural Municipality of Flowerdale No. 244 from December 1913, depopulated during the 1930s dust years and now inside Special Area No. 2. Coordinates 51°21'58"N 111°33'54"W from Wikipedia. 'Medicine Hat' in the recorded name is the 1921 federal census district, not the city - Flowerdale is roughly 180 km north of it - so the parent is moved off the Medicine Hat city row onto Alberta. Left status 'current' because the site still carries the name on maps and I have no sourced coordinate for Special Area No. 2; a moderator who prefers status 'historical' should link it there.
