Married at East Coker, St Michael, in Somerset, on Christmas Day; the witnesses were Robert Young and Samuel Dodge. George was twenty-one and Mary twenty-three. This is the only marriage of a George Baker to a Mary in the parish register, and it gives Mary her maiden surname, KING.
