First notice in column 1: 'In the Supreme Court of New South Wales. ECCLESIASTICAL JURISDICTION. In the will of John Field, late of Mount-street, St. Leonards, near Sydney, in the Colony of New South Wales, farmer, deceased. NOTICE is hereby given that after the expiration of fourteen days from the publication hereof in the New South Wales Government Gazette, application will be made to the Supreme Court of New South Wales, in its Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction, that probate of the last will and testament of the abovenamed John Field, deceased, who died on the 10th day of June last, may be granted to Margaret Ann Field, the sole executrix named in the said will.--Dated this 24th day of October, A.D. 1887. RICHARD WATSON WALKER M'COY, Proctor for the Applicant, 52, Castlereagh-street, Sydney. 7368 6s. 6d.' This is John Field #82968, born Udimore, Sussex, 1810, who came out on the James Pattison in 1838 and farmed Oxley Island on the Manning River from 1857. Margaret Ann Field is his second wife, Margaret Ann Albury, married at Penrith in 1848 after his first wife Sarah Jane Watson died at Narellan in 1842.
