Sandstone pedestal monument, photographed in the Lutheran section of the Drayton and Toowoomba Cemetery. Inscription read from the photograph this session, / marking line breaks: "OUR DEAR / GRANDMOTHER / HERMINA SEIFERT. / WHO DEPARTED THIS LIFE / FEB. 17 1900. / AGED 74 YEARS. / Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord." The last line is the King James rendering of Revelation 14:13. She is commemorated by her grandchildren rather than by a husband or children, and under the single name Hermina, the last of her three given names. AGE 74 IS THE GENEALOGICAL VALUE: it brackets her birth between 18 February 1825 and 17 February 1826, and the tree's recorded birth of 23 October 1825 falls inside that bracket, so the stone independently supports a birth date that until now rested only on an Ancestry member tree.
