Trove clipping (nla.news-article132973853), The Scrutineer and Berrima District Press 26 Apr 1919 p. 2, Obituary: 'Mr. Herbert Cole Charles, the well-known gardener, died at his late residence, "Rosewood," East Goulburn, at 11 o'clock on Saturday morning... He was born at Sutton Forest and came to Goulburn when a young man, being for some years coachman to the late Dr. Davidson.'
