German-Lutheran settlement and congregation in the Neu Mecklenburg district of the Barossa, officially named Schoenborn from 1854 (earlier Schonquell). Not itself in the 1918 gazetted rename list - it was the district name New Mecklenburg that became Gomersall (see #7280) - but the Schoenborn church is the Gomersal church: the Leader of 19 April 1945 headed its report 'SCHOENBORN CHURCH HAS 90th JUBILEE' and in the body called it the 90th jubilee of Gomersal Church. Linked 'within' present-day Gomersal, from which it inherits coordinates.
