## Timeline
- 1841 — **Born** at East Coker, Somerset, England — Born at East Coker in the Yeovil district of Somerset, about 1841 — the place her own row on the Kate's assisted-immigrant list gives, and the parish where her sisters Eliza and Susan were baptised to the same parents. Her own baptism is not in the FreeREG transcription of the East Coker register, though her sisters' are. WikiTree gives the exact date 31 March 1841, which no record read here confirms.
- 18 NOV 1854 — **Immigrated** at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia — Arrived at Sydney aged 13 on the ship Kate, an assisted immigrant from East Coker, Somerset, travelling with her parents George and Mary Baker and her sisters Eliza (15) and Susan (11). She could read and write; her father could do neither.
- 1883 — **Buried** at Lansdowne, New South Wales, Australia — Buried in Lansdowne General Cemetery, plot 'Ang', under the memorial she shares with her husband Benjamin and his first wife Mary.
- 18 OCT 1883 — **Died** at Lansdowne, New South Wales, Australia — Died at Lansdowne on the Manning River, aged about 42, in the same year her youngest child was born — almost certainly in childbirth or its aftermath. Her death registration, 8415/1883 in the Wingham district, carries the registrar's annotation 'DIED LANSDOWN' in place of her mother's name, which is what fixes the place. Buried at Lansdowne General Cemetery with her husband.
